Cooperativa Samuele is a social worker training cooperative. In its laboratories, it produces leather goods and offers various types of services, including catering, favors and green maintenance.
SECTORS:
- Catering: kitchen, bar service, lounge and catering
- Leather and paper converting workshop
- Shop: packaging of gift items and sales
- Horticulture, viticulture and green care
The Samuele Cooperative operates mainly through four training channels:
1) the semi-residential Occupational Laboratories pursuant to L.P. 14/91, cataloged as "Work socialization center" (1.9) and "Laboratory for the acquisition of adult working prerequisites" (2.4). These employment paths pursue the objective of the "competent self" which is achieved through the recognition / maintenance of existing skills and the experimentation / evaluation of new skills, increasing the awareness of "being able to do" in the person;
2) the projects of the European Social Fund pursue the objective of "self-competence" which is achieved through the development of professional skills and the mastery of one's own learning heritage, allowing the person to define and carry out their project responsibly working also through the activation of internships within companies in the free market;
3) the Employment Laboratories in collaboration with Cinformi in favor of vulnerable Asylum Seekers and literacy and intercultural facilitation courses;
4) the alternating school-work paths for BES (Special Educational Needs) students and the presence of educational assistants within primary and secondary schools.
