6 000 Social housing, climate plan partner. Advivo, Office Public de l'Habitat, was founded in 1914. It is the 4th Office to have been created on the national territory. The Office is an EPIC, Public Institution of Industrial and Commercial Character, which has as a subordinate body "Vienne Condrieu Agglomeration".
Originally, the Office was created in the form of HBM, Habitation Bon Marché. In July 1950, the HBM became the HLM, Habitations à Loyers Modérés, then, in 1987, the Office adopted the status of OPAC, Office Public d'Aménagement et de Construction. It was finally in February 2007 that the OPH category, Office Public de l'Habitat, was created. Advivo therefore becomes an OPH.
Since its creation, over 100 years ago, Advivo has followed the overall evolutions of the social housing sector: Home ownership, city in the countryside, rehabilitation of old districts, etc. An integral part of the development policy of the city of Vienna, Advivo has established itself in Vienna as a first-rate builder. After having built large real estate complexes in the 1970s, such as the Cités Jardin and Charlemagne, the Office is moving towards “reasoned” construction since the 80s and 90s, thus favoring small units and individual rental housing.
