Reference Municipality
Marprom was established on June 21, 2011 with the purpose of providing safe and comfortable urban passenger traffic throughout the entire municipality of Maribor. After its founding, it initially operated as a public utility, and in July 2012 it was transformed into a public company for urban passenger transport, Marprom doo, by amending the ordinance.
In addition to urban passenger transport and other types of bus services, Marprom also performs other activities, such as vehicle maintenance, cableway and ski resort management in Pohorje and the management of public parking in Maribor.
